The completion last week of the new carpet and vinyl flooring installation in all Tower 2 guest units means we are entering the home stretch of that portion of our yearlong room renovation project. Occupancy rates will determine how quickly we will be able to install the carpet and vinyl flooring in Tower 5 and finish the foot-friendly project. Tower 1 was the first of our three guest towers to receive new flooring and carpeting. The project there went smoothly …

Packing for Vegas used to be so simple when you were single. Usually a change of clothes would do, and maybe not even that if you weren’t planning to ever leave the craps table. Not for nothing did the paramedics coin the phrase “Vegas Syndrome”* with you in mind. But those days are over. You’re respectable now, which means you’ve probably procreated. And become a taxi. Life in its present iteration is a series of take-me-tos and pick-me-ups – from …

http://blog.tahitivillage.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Easter-egg-basket-300x273.jpg

This is the one time of year when it’s advisable to put all your eggs in one basket – and the more the merrier. This is certainly true if you’re a child and planning to participate in our annual Easter egg hunt this Saturday, when intrepid hunter-gatherers will fill their baskets from a bounty of more than 3,000 plastic candy-filled eggs hidden inside the Lazy River. “The Easter egg hunt is a highly anticipated event,” Tahiti Village activities director Britny …

Tahiti Village is the first LV resort to get a Nissan Electric Vehicle Charging Station, leaving others green with envy

http://blog.tahitivillage.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Charging-station-2-225x300.jpg

We are pleased to announce Tahiti Village is now one of two locations in Las Vegas – and the only resort property – to offer a Nissan Electric Vehicle Charging Station. Installation began last week, and the station will soon be ready for use. It is on the second floor of the parking garage next to the elevators. All electric vehicles can “fill up” at the double-sided charging station, not just the Leaf, Nissan’s five-door hatchback. It takes about 30 minutes to …

Child Care Services While teenagers can probably be left alone in a hotel room for a few hours, younger kids will have to have adult …

http://blog.tahitivillage.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Carpet-3-225x300.jpg

The yearlong project to renovate the guest units is underway and progressing faster than we could have hoped. Vinyl flooring has been replaced in all Tower 1 and 2 guest units, and attractive new cut and loop pile carpeting is now in all fifth- and sixth-floor guest units in Tower 1.
