The fifth anniversary season of our popular weekly luau concludes this Sunday in the Island Courtyard. The luau is one of our most popular resort events, and we thank everyone who attended our weekly summer showcase in 2014. We hope you will join us for more tropical fun, food and entertainment next summer. “A lot of hard work goes into preparing for an event of this size,” said Mike Rounds, Tahiti Village general manager. “Our luau wouldn’t have been nearly …

This has been the busiest summer we’ve ever experienced at Tahiti Village. With increased visitor volume we have seen more tubes floating on the Lazy River, more kids enjoying themselves in the pool and, unfortunately, more cigarette and other types of smoke and vapor in close proximity to children and families. Subsequently, we have also had a significant jump in requests to create a more balanced breathing environment inside our aquatic features. As a resort that attracts a wide variety …

Please stop by on your next visit and enjoy half off well drinks, domestic beer and specialty drinks with selected food items from 2-5 p.m. daily inside our beautiful new space in the main lobby. The reviews are in: 17° South Booze & Bites is a hit!

http://blog.tahitivillage.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/17°-South-Booze-Bites-icon.jpg

Since its June grand opening, 17° South Booze & Bites has been serving up one great meal after another – and receiving one complimentary review after the next. Even before its much anticipated debut, we were touting our beautiful new bar and bistro as a great place to grab a bite, relax with a drink and watch a game in a peaceful tropical environment. It turns out we were prophetic. Numerous people (a strong half dozen so far) have shown …

July 4th fireworks to light up the night sky over Vegas

Fireworks in a place like Las Vegas would seem to be almost beside the point if the city itself weren’t a testament to excess. Not enough neon? Hey, let’s set off some sky explosions! Like New Year’s Eve, July 4th brings out our redundant, over-the-top best, with spectacular fireworks displays lighting up the night sky all over the valley. This year is no different. By our count there are 11 fireworks shows scheduled for Independence Day night. So if you’re staying …

17° South tap beer lineup offers new, traditional faves

http://blog.tahitivillage.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Beer-2.jpg

With a lineup of more than 20 to choose from, 17° South’s tap beer selection is sure to satisfy the taste “Buds” of all but the biggest craft beer snob. No matter what your persuasion, we’ve got you covered up and down the bar. Our “crafty” beer offerings, while not technically craft beers since they exceed the maximum yearly number of brewed barrels, have a kinship with them in spirit and approach to brewing experimentation.     So step up to the bar …

17° South menu offers diverse and delicious items

http://blog.tahitivillage.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Lettuce-cups1-224x300.jpg

We didn’t intentionally set out to make your life more difficult when we created the 17° South Booze & Bites menu. Upon closer examination, however, it appears we did. At 17° South, our brand new bar and bistro, you’ll always have something great to eat. The hard part? Deciding from an array of tempting choices. Immediately you’re confronted with tantalizing Starters, which include a quartet of traditional favorites (quesadilla, chicken wings, chicken tenders and shrimp cocktail) and a fun-to-eat newcomer …

http://blog.tahitivillage.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/New-York-owners1-224x300.jpg

The much anticipated 17° South Booze & Bites earned rave reviews among owners who attended a private party at our new bar and bistro ahead of today’s grand opening. “I think this is over the top fantastic,” said Carolyn Bove, of New York, visiting with her husband George and friends Vicki and William Nieter. “It’s absolutely beautiful – open and airy with lots of seating and TVs. The space generates a really great feel.” “I love that it opens up to the …
