Researchers say the human face is capable of 21 expressions. Over the years Las Vegas residents had become intimately familiar with six – shock, surprise, curiosity, envy, admiration and cringing horror. It ended up looking like this: It was almost enough to make us not …

Strip closure for Las Vegas Rock`n’ Roll Marathon forcing cancellation of our Mirage shuttle this Sunday

The closure of the Strip for Sunday’s Las Vegas Rock `n’ Roll Marathon will require us to cancel transportation to the Mirage. The final stage of our lobby renovation, a comprehensive yearlong project that included the relocation of the WikiWiki and the grand opening of 17° South Booze & Bites, began last week with beautification preparations. Removal of the old wall décor was just the first step in a complete redesign that will give us a fresh, modern appearance. The project will bring new chairs and couches, tables, carpeting in four different areas, and decorative space dividers that will create separate seating …
